Jessica is the author of A Curious Intimacy and Entitlement. Her hybrid memoir, Hearing Maud, won the Michael Crouch Award and was shortlisted for four national awards.

Jessica has published short fiction, poetry, and essays, and has won funding and residencies. She is also co-founder and co-editor of Science Write Now, a literary magazine of creative writing inspired by science.

Jessica’s essay collection, Silence is my Habitat: Ecobiographical Essays will be published by Upswell in 2025.
