Jessica’ third book, Hearing Maud, will be launched at Avid Reader Bookstore on Thursday, 25th July, by Dr Donna McDonald. An Auslan signer will be present for any d/Deaf/hard-of-hearing attendees. Tickets are free and can be booked via this link.

Arts Queensland Individuals Fund Grant
Jessica has received a grant from Arts Queensland's Individuals Fund. She will use it to research and write her book on 19th Century Queensland novelist Rosa Praed and her deaf daughter Maud.
